NUSPS has just concluded the Basic Photography Workshop 2018 on 22 September!
Thank you to everyone who chose to spend their Saturday with us and attend this workshop and photowalk. The Basic Photography Workshop aims to provide our new members with fundamentals in handling DSLRs. Through this workshop, attendees have learnt to manipulate aperture, shutter speed, ISO and also have a better understanding in photo composition.
Here are some photos taken from our workshop and photowalk around Chinatown:

Unfortunately, the rain caught up to us and everyone was stuck shooting within sheltered walkways.
After the rain has subsided, our participants were challenged to capture a still image of water droplets by applying their new-learnt knowledge on shutter speed, aperture and ISO.
Fourth station: The alleyway beside The Botanist, a café along Neil Road. Irsyaad (left) and Nathaniel (right) volunteered to be models for our participants to practise various photography techniques such as depth of field, camera angle and photo composition.

Last station: Chinatown Street Market. Participants were asked to roam the bustling street to capture the various sights and sceneries in one of Singapore’s famous cultural heritage. Credit: Shun Jie
